Our History
LP Foods is steeped in a rich and illustrious tradition, following the legacy left behind by Amati Vongole, a respected family business who pioneered processing and canning of clams in Europe and exporting them to as far away as Japan.
In the 1980s, Livio Petz followed in the footsteps and pioneered clam exports from Vietnam to Europe. He was considered among the first major contributors to the flourishing of the seafood market.
In 2005, Emanuele and Liza Pets founded LP Foods in Singapore, far from the shores of our CEO's motherland. Being a dynamic and innovative boutique trading company specializing in seafood products originating from Asia, especially China and Vietnam, Singapore was a natural choice as it is stratigic location and efficient infrastructure allows is to reach out to not only Italy today, but also Spain, France and Japan. Our sourcing efforts span across Europe and Asia, with offices in Italy, Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia and China. And as a trading company, we pride ourselves in always serving our customers with an expanding team of professionals ever fueled by passion enthusiasm and positivity.
In honour of Llvio Petz, our forefathers, their courageous endeavours and their remarkable achievements, we named our company LP Foods, and will continue to serve innovate and be pioneers in the ever changing tides of this industry.

LP Foods' new corporate identity, aptly depicted by two fish locked facing a counter-clockwise manner which represents our enthusiasm for partnership and long-lasting relationships with our stakeholders. Be it sea caught or farmed, frozen or unfrozen, raw or processed; we have full accountability of our service processes, allowing us to accurately isolate and identify any problems that may arise in the delivery chain and quickly rectify them. Quality control is never compromised and always implemented.
